Find the freshest, sweetest strawberries you can for this late night snack/dessert/breakfast/whenever.
Author:Olio Taibi
1 4oz ball burrata, brought to room temperature
1 very large handful strawberries, hulled and quartered
Honey
Aleppo-style Pepper
Smoked Sea Salt
Slice open burrata on a plate.
Scatter strawberries over burrata.
Drizzle with Olio Taibi Biancolilla Extra Virgin Olive Oil, honey, and sprinkle on pepper and salt. Follow your heart to determine quantities of each ingredient, but definitely don't skimp on the olive oil or salt!
Eat with a spoon, or if you have some good crusty bread that works too.
In choosing a honey, seek out something that has a distinct flavor such as eucalyptus, orange blossom, or clover honey.
Smoked sea salt is a great addition to your pantry if you don't have some already. We like Oaktown Spice Shop's Cherrywood Smoked Salt for this dish.

This is partly a recipe, but mostly a template for a wonderfully different way to enjoy our Biancolilla extra virgin olive oil with the bounty of summer that isn't another tomato and cheese combination- which we love! But Burrata and Berries is a fun twist.
